Rex Ty Beanie Baby Sells for $229!
On June 2, 2011, an authenticated museum quality Rex Ty Beanie Baby tyrannosaurus sold for $229.95 plus $2 shipping on eBay. Becky’s True Blue Beans authenticated this mint Beanie Baby and noted that it had a rare Korean tag.
Rex was only produced with a third generation heart tag. The year, 1995, must appear on the 1st or 2nd generation tush tag. If it does not have this year, it is considered a counterfeit. Authentication is highly recommended!
