Ty Beanie Babies Official Club Collector's Cards - Series Four
Beanie Babies Official Club Collector's cards, 2nd Edition Series IV, began to arrived in the U.S. on November 10, 1999. They have the same type of cards as Series III with the same odds. The only new type of card is the Lenticular Action card found in a sealed box of cards which replaces the Limited Edition Tear-A-Bear cards found in Series III.
The eye-catching orange box features photos of Clubby I, Clubby II, Amber, Tiny, Eucalyptus and others. Series IV includes 164 individual Beanies Collector's Cards which is a greater number than in any previous series.
There are many different types of chase cards in Series IV. There are Autographed cards including Limited Edition The End Bear Cards, Retired cards, Classic Common cards, Beanies & Buddies cards, Birthday cards and Wild Cards. There are 8 cards plus a Beanie Sticker card in every pack. One of the 8 cards included in a pack is an Artist's Proof card. The suggested retail price of a pack of Series IV cards is $2.
How to tell the color of your card:
There are four color variations of the Wild cards, Birthday/Rookie Cards and Retired Cards. The colors are orange (most common), purple, silver and gold (least common).
Wild Cards: Determined by the color of the Beanie Baby Name.
Birthday/Rookie: Determined by the right side of the card (to the right of the arc is a solid color - either orange, silver, etc.)
Beanie/Buddy Cards: Determined by the color of the Beanie Baby Name
Retired Card: Determined by the retired stamp on the upper left of the card.
Limited Edition Numbering: ALL Retired cards have a limited edition number printed on the back of the card. All GOLD Wild cards, Birthday/Rookie Cards and Beanie & Buddy Cards also have a limited edition number printed on the back of the card.

Autographed Cards
Ty Warner signed one of every card from Series IV plus 400 Limited Edition The End Bear Cards. All autographed cards are numbered 1/1 (with the exception of The End Bear card which is numbered up to 400) and are signed "ty" with a gold paint pen. There is also a small clear TY heart embossed on top of the signature.
10 Retired Cards
The Retired card have rounded upper left and lower right corners and square upper right and lower left corners. A cut-out on the front of the card reveals a Retired insignia. All of the Retired cards bear a limited edition numbering on the back of the cards. "The End" bear card is the last card in this Series, number #320.
10 Classic Common Cards
Classic Common cards look just like the common cards found in Series I and II but are stamped "Classic Common" just like the card in Series III.
16 Beanie Babies and Buddies Cards
The Beanie Babies and Buddies cards have one uneven edge that matches up with its Beanie or Buddy mate. While similar cards were found in Series III, these Beanie & Buddy cards are not clear cards.
12 Birthday/Rookie Cards
Birthday cards have a landscape orientation and the name of the Beanie Baby is printed vertically going down the left side of the card. The birthday of the Beanie appears in gold on a banner across a circle on the right side of the card in the middle of an arc that says "Birthday Edition." On some of the cards such as the 1999 Holiday Teddy, the word "ROOKIE" appears on a yellow oval on the front of the card.
15 Wild Cards
Wild cards have a portrait orientation and the name of the Beanie printed horizontally across the card.On the back of each of these is a "Wild Fact" relating to something about that animal in the wild." Gold cards have a limited edition numbering on the back of the card. There are only 100 gold cards made of each of these wild cards.
100 Artist's Proof Cards
Artist's Proof cards are exactly like the common cards, with the addition of a small foil stamp that says "Artist's Proof" surrounding a Ty heart on the front right side of the card.
100 Common Cards
On Common Cards the name of the Beanie is in big (1/3 to 1/2 size of the card) outlined letters similar to Series III. The Beanie is posed against different backgrounds, such as a farm, underwater, polar region, etc. depending on the Beanie. The words "Beanie Babies" in color appear on the lower left corner, the style number appears in a footprint, shell, heart, or horseshoe in the lower right corner of the card. On the back of the card, the poem, birthday, issue date, and a fun fact which may or may not be related to the Beanie is printed.
24 Sticker Cards
One peel-off glow-in-the-dark sticker comes on each pack of cards. These stickers are the same size as the stickers found in Series III but they glow in the dark. Hint: In order to make them glow, hold the sticker up to the light for a few seconds, then turn the lights off.
Issued Card
Inside a case of Series IV cards is a cardboard insert holding a four screw card holder with a semi-transparent card mounted inside of it. Each has a picture of a group of Beanies on both sides. (A case consists of six boxes.)
Lenticular Action Card
Inside a sealed box of Series IV cards, is a card similar to the "Action-Flipz" from Pokemon, when you turn the card the images moves. These square cards measure 4½' x 4½." (A box consists of 24 packs of cards.)
