Humphrey Beanie Baby Sells for $500 on Ebay

A second generation Humphrey the Camel Beanie Baby sold for $500 on EBay today.  The beanie had not been authenticated but the seller guaranteed it to be authentic and noted that the second generation swing tag was in good condition but had a sticky residue on the back.  It is interesting to note that there is an authenticated first generation Humphrey the camel for sale at BBtoystore.com for just $349.99. Humphrey the camel Beanie Baby was issued on January 25, 1994 and retired June 15, 1995. Humphrey was made with a first, second and third generation hang tag.  Back in September of 2000 an authenticated third generation Humphrey sold for $955 on EBay.
