A huge collection of Ty Beanie Babies sold on EBay on December 15, 2010 for $3,500. The collection was comprised of 244 Beanie Babies. Some were rare near mint beanie babies including 3rd generation Peanut the royal blue elephant, first generation Quackers the wingless duck, 2nd generation Teddy the Jade old face bear, 1st generation Web the spider, 3rd generation Slither the snake and tagless Spot without a spot dog. If the seller had sold this collection to an Internet Retailer, they would have received approximately $1,581, which represents 45% of the actual sale price.
