On March 5, 2011, a rare 1st generation Chilly the polar bear Ty Beanie Baby sold for $598.88 plus $9.95 shipping on Ebay. The Beanie had been authenticated pbbags.com in 2005. The seller described the Beanie’s condition as: Excellent/ Pristine slight crease on hang tag.

Chilly was introduced on June 25, 1994 and retired on January 7, 1996. It was only produced with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation heart tag and a 1st generation black and white tush tag.
