Authenticated Ty Chocolate Beanie Baby Sells for $849

An authenticated Ty Chocolate the moose Beanie Baby sold on eBay for $849 on February 17, 2013.  Peggy Gallagher had authenticated the Beanie as having a 1st generation heart and tush tag, and noted, “Original 9. Near mint tag.” However, the seller stated it was mint. The Beanie was purchased with Ebay’s, “Buy It Now,” format.

It is interesting to note that a Chocolate Moose Beanie Baby sold on Sept 2, 2005 for $495 on Ebay. The beanie, authenticated by Peggy Gallagher, was described as Museum Quality with a 1st generation Ty heart tag and a 1st generation Ty Korean tush tag.

Chocolate the moose was introduced January 8, 1994 and retired on December 31, 1998.
